She is a sought-after subject matter expert specializing in residential title insurance and the effects of fraud on the title insurance industry in Canada. She has travelled across the country as a keynote speaker on title fraud educating lenders and lawyers so that they can more readily spot red flags and suspicious indicators in real estate transactions in order to detect and prevent fraud. Marie is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners which is the largest anti-fraud organization in the world and is a past member of FSRA’s Technical Advisory Committee for Mortgage Brokering.\n\nJeff Brown, Vice President, National Credit Union Strategy and Regional Representation for FCT\nJeff has been in the banking industry for over 30 years and has spent the majority of the last 14 years with FCT. Jeff has also worked with RBC, BMO, BNS, CWB and Coastal Community Credit Union in a variety of sales and leadership positions.
